Great place to stay if you want to get away from the city and see the galaxy! The home was very cozy and we loved the Martian theme. Owners were responsive and very friendly with us. It’s a very private and quiet area. We definitely enjoyed our peaceful trip in Joshua Tree.

The Martian Rose was a beautiful cabin. We loved the details and decor touches, the grounds filled with art and sculpture, wonderful sitting patios outside, the comfortable gathering areas and bedrooms.

We were delighted to experience the intersection of modernity and Mother Nature. The kitchen and bath were impeccable. It was a welcomed delight to be relaxed in the hot tub as bees gathered nectar from a nearby bush and hummingbirds rapidly floated from one flower ti another. At night we relaxed in the stargazing chairs, protected from the wind by trees and a mid-height fence. Our views of the night sky was only intermittently obscured by clouds rolling by us. We made note of a tripod in the closet for our next cross-country visit. We made it to the Martian Rose, easily following the instructions they provided. Next time, I won’t go for the smallest/cheapest rental car. Rather, I would get at least a mini SUV, so that we could further take advantage of this exciting spot for exploration. We plan to come back in the fall.

Our 1st short term rental ever and it was a great experience. Perfect place to get away from everything. Took amazing photos . The stars at night where incredible not having light pollution to ruin the view. The bed was better then most hotels we stay in. Coffee & Tea options and plenty of pots and pans to cook. My wife and I loved it .

Martian Rose is a perfect quirky desert getaway. There are magical little touches everywhere you look throughout the property. In especially liked how they had bowls and pick up bags for our dog. The views are stunning and you really get the isolated feel here. Once we entered the gates we didn't want to leave, though it's not a far drive into either 29 Palms, Joshua Tree or Pioneertown. They have excellent directions so we didn't have to get lost with GPS. This home has super cute atomic mid-century touches and we were not disappointed with the views we got watching the meteor shower. We will definitely be back!

This place is magical! We had an amazing four days of gorgeous views, star-gazing, hot-tubbing, and comfort! The bedrooms are super comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Would definitely stay again!!

One of the coolest Airbnb's stays ever! Easy check in. So peaceful and relaxing. The Martian theme made me happy and the home is overall so clean and nice. Would stay here again
