THE SPACE 
The Adobe is a vibrant and uniquely furnished property with a spacious 1,200 sq ft floor plan packed with every amenity needed for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway.

We offer a fully stocked kitchen, a large dining area w/ seating for 6, eat-in kitchen with a retro vibe, a livingroom with a small tv w/ roku, dvd player, lots of dvds, speakers to plug into phone or laptop, 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom, concrete front and back porch sitting areas, front yard picnic bench.

Comfortable sleeping arrangements include: 1 queen bed in the master and two full beds in the second bedroom. 

The house is equipped with a ductless heater in the livingroom, space heaters in each bedroom, and a roof-mounted evaporative cooler.

THE OUTDOORS 
The Adobe's beautiful views of untouched desert landscape in the distance make this a perfect place to unplug, rest, and serve as a comfy home base for your desert adventures.

The large backyard comes equipped with outdoor amenities including an enormous fire pit and 6 adirondack chairs for an incredible night of stargazing. The yard is fully fenced and wraps all the way around the corner lot to the front. 

Your desert exploration starts right outside the front door with the Joshua Tree National Park (JTNP) Headquarters/Oasis Visitors Center just around the corner; an awesome Observatory 1 mile away; and the Joshua Tree National Park (29 Palms) North entrance, just a short few minutes drive away.

Zip in and out the Park through this less busy entrance and quickly access the JTNP's world class bouldering, climbing and hiking sites (Jumbo Rocks, Skull Rock, Hall of Horrors, Cap Rock, Arch Rock, Intersection Rock, Barker Dam, Hemmingway Buttress, Quail Springs and Hidden Valley) from the Adobe. Also easily access the picturesque Cholla Cactus Gardens, Indian Cove, and 49 Palms trail, a hotspot to occasionally catch big horn sheep sightings!

Cornhole and Ladderball are also available for outdoor gaming fun! 

Please store games indoors after use and keep all the pieces and parts together so everyone can continue to enjoy them.

FOR BABY:  We have a bundle of joy ourselves so your baby will always be welcomed to recharge at the Adobe too. A pack & play, a baby gate to block off kitchen, a compact folding high chair, a pack of outlet protectors and a bin of baby/toddler toys is provided for your use and stored in the Master Bedroom closet.  Please be awesome and wipe down toys before your departure. The Adobe is not childproofed.

LIBRARY: We have curated a lovely collection of reading materials and books about the JTNP, the California Desert, its ecosysrem and an assortment of fun reads on natural health,  yoga, cooking and positive thought for our guests to enjoy. Please be sure to check them back into our shelves at checkout.
