Great location, beautiful views, private and clean. We would absolutely stay here again. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, watching the stars, and listening to the (very close by) Coyotes yip.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Rock Box! My husband (45), my daughter (13), my son (10), and I (44) stayed for a long weekend at the end of March so that we could visit Joshua Tree National Park. The location of the house is very close to the Joshua Tree (town) entrance and not too far from the 29 Palms entrance. It was nice to be able to get up early and be one of the first into the park. The house itself was great! The views from the house are stunning! The house was clean, comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, and it has nice amenities such as WIFI, smart TV, propane grill, and hot tub. The hot tub is situated at the end of the patio, among the large rocks, with views of the hills. The setting is gorgeous! My kids and I had a great time scrambling on some rocks around the house. My husband and I also took a long walk through Coyote Hole on the nearby trail and saw jack rabbits and quail. The desert is starting to bloom and the scenery was beautiful! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend the property!

We loved this place so much we tried to extend our stay. It is absolutely incredible - peaceful and surrounded by rocks - it feels like you're on another planet. The decor is clean and modern and very comfortable. The bathtub is decadent, with an amazing view of the rocks. It has fantastic energy. The hosts were excellent and the place was very clean. I loved that all we had to do to checkout was the dishes. Also, it had supplies - oils, spices, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. This is so thoughtful and handy when you're only staying a few days. I would highly recommend the Rock Box.

The house has a perfect view of the Joshua Tree town. I loved the modern design and decor of the house and a great backyard and the porch. There are some minor things to be looked at. The kitchen needs more appliances for cooking. The en suite bathroom has a leaky toilet and one of the recess lights needs a bulb change.

We loved our stay at Rock Box. It was great for our best friend getaway. It’s really breathtaking as you’re driving up to the house and see it nestled among the rocks. I was able to cook all our meals in the comfort of a beautiful, open kitchen. And this location is perfectly private! The sunsets were beautiful! Looking forward to another trip in the future.

This property is a dream! The house is beautiful, spacious, and has everything we needed. It is located at the top of a hill with access to mini-trails and sweeping views of rocks and boulders. We had an amazing time relaxing outside on the hammock and grilling BBQ. At night, we were isolated enough to do some stargazing. Shanan, the property manager, was very helpful and accommodating in every way possible! The whole family loved it here and would definitely book again in a heartbeat!

Spectacular location. Spectacular house. We were blown away when we drove up to the Rock Box house. Great being so close to the Joshua Tree park, but, the hikes right out the back door were pretty amazing. We loved the house. All the right appointments and utilities. We highly recommend staying at Rock Box. Hope to visit again in the future.
